We are a small, family run business that started our venture in early 2017. Our story begins with a chance encounter and opportunity that saw us initially start with an online website selling all kinds of bath products purchased from wholesalers. We had some great experiences from this (and some not so great!). We listened to our customers and what they wanted and we like to think we at least attempted to respond to everyone's needs and catered for various groups. We are very approachable and will always accommodate where we can.

Near to the end of 2017 we took our online shop and turned it into a physical shop based in the beautiful, historic Halifax Borough Market. We researched lots and began producing our own bath bombs. For anyone aware of EU regulations (following Brexit the UK now has UK regulations) you will know that bath bombs ( or any cosmetic intended for skin) cannot just be made and sold. There is an extensive process involved, requiring every product to be safety assessed by a cosmetic chemist and each product then being registered on to the cosmetic portal. All products then require a product information file to be created along with batch records and product liability insurance. We are proud to say that every single one of our products adhere to all these regulations and this is what brings us to offering our extensive range of products. Scentz-Sationz Ltd is registered on the Guild Of Craft Soap & Toiletry to evidence our compliance.

We now operate our wholesale business and retail production in the heart of Halifax town Centre.

When covid came we decided to close our retail outlet and turn the whole 3000 square feet into production areas. This allowed us to continue production safely whilst being able to continue manufacturing for the many businesses we supply.

Covid 19 has destroyed many lives and families. At the beginning of Covid we distributed our alcohol hand wash (cosmetically certified) for free to many care homes and hospices in our home town that struggled to source some. We have also donated to various charities and made custom breast bath bombs for a breast cancer charity. There is no greater feeling than giving a helping hand. With this in mind and knowing of many people struggling financially we decided to limit our wholesale customers so we could rebuild our retail website and take on 'brand reps'. This has already proven to be a big financial help to the few selected reps that have been with us for over a year. We aim to expand on this and branch out our brand to more brand reps.
